TORY TO AID RWANDA PROJECT

Woman released in arson probe

Harlow Star - appealA WOMAN who was arrested with three other people over an arson attack which killed a woman and severely disabled her boyfriend, has been released on bail. Two men and two women were detained by officers yesterday (Tuesday) over the 2005 murder of Kerry Youngs and the grievous bodily harm of her boyfriend Kevin Chapple.

Bypass a step closer?

Harlow Star - Bill RammellPLANS to build a Harlow bypass linking the M11 with the A414 have taken a step closer to fruition following talks between the minister for transport and Bill Rammell MP. The Rt Hon Rosie Winterton met with Mr Rammell last week to discuss the proposals, and hinted that the new road could potentially be paid for using monies from the town's regional funding allowance - which is due to come under review this summer.
